About the Provider

Ms. Alberts, Board-Certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, graduated with honors from the University of Arizona Master’s of Science in Nursing program.

As a Neurosurgical Nurse Practitioner she enjoys seeing patients at Western Neuro to diagnose and treat problems pertaining to the brain and spine. She also serves as surgical first assist to Neurosurgeons in the St. Joseph's Hospital operating room.

In pursuit of a PhD in both Nursing Practice and Philosophy in Nursing, she often travels to rural Boliva to research neurocysticercosis in villages for her dissertation. Her medical missions to South America provide assessments, health education, medications and referrals to people of all ages.

Outside of traveling the globe she enjoys art, music, outdoor activities, jewelry making and photography.
